Vinita Hampton Wright has edited books for Loyola Press, a Jesuit ministry, for 21 years, serving as managing editor in recent years. She has published her own fiction and nonfiction, including the most recent Small Simple Ways: An Ignatian Daybook for Healthy Spiritual Living. Vinita has helped lead various small groups through the Spiritual Exercises of St. Ignatius and is currently completing requirements for certification as a spiritual director through Loyola University. She is a regular contributor to the Loyola Press blog, www.ignatianspirituality.com, and for more than two decades she has led retreats and workshops on writing, creativity, prayer, and Ignatian spirituality. She lives with her husband, Jim, their two dogs and two cats on Chicago’s South Side.
