With more than twenty books and numerous articles and short stories published since the 1980s, Brent Bill has learned a thing or three about writing. His book titles include Life Lessons from a Bad Quaker, Holy Silence: The Gift of Quaker Spirituality, Sacred Compass: The Way of Spiritual Discernment, and the forthcoming Beauty, Truth, Life, and Love: Essentials for the Good Life. He’s a writing coach, editor, photographer, and popular writing retreat leader. He’s served on the faculty of Midwest Writers Workshop, Indiana Writers Center, Earlham School of Religion’s Ministry of Writing program, and more. Brent lives on Ploughshares Farm – fifty acres of Indiana farmland being returned to native hardwood forests and warm season prairie grasses.
