Welcome to Second Tuesdays! This free online discussion series features writers who have a heart for helping other writers. Each session includes an open, informal discussion on a different topic. Everyone is welcome to participate!
When: The next online gathering will be Tuesday, December 10, 2024 at 8pm EST (5pm PST) on Zoom.
What: The topic is different each month. In December, the topic will be, “Writing in Advent.”
Description of December session: Advent is a time of waiting and preparation. During this meeting, we will explore ways we can slow down to discern if and what we may be called to write next. We will also discuss practices we can adopt that might help our writing grow in new directions. This session will be led by Kate Rademacher, managing director of Writing for Your Life and author of several books including Reclaiming Rest:The Promise of Sabbath, Solitude, and Stillness in a Restless World. During this session, there will also be time for general Q&A. Bring any questions you have about spiritual writing or publication to discuss with the group. All are welcome and the event is free.
