Rev. Amanda Henderson is the Director of the Institute of Religion, Politics and Culture at Iliff School of Theology. Amanda most recently served as the Executive Director of the Interfaith Alliance of Colorado, growing the organization to become one of the most effective advocacy groups in Colorado and nationally.

She is a graduate of Brite Divinity School (Texas Christian University) and is currently pursuing a PhD in religion and politics at the University of Denver and Iliff School of Theology. An Ordained Minister in the Christian Church (Disciples of Christ), Amanda has served as a pastor and continues to preach and teach in multiple communities. She has been recognized for her civic leadership in bringing people together for healing in times of tragedy and mobilizing people to action in times of injustice. Amanda is a frequent speaker and writer on topics of interfaith understanding, advocacy, and civic engagement, and the author of Holy Chaos, Creating Connections in Divisive Times
