David Paterson is a writer, professional stuntman, and adjunct professor of screenwriting for NYIT of Manhattan. He serves on the Film Advisory Board for the Savannah, Gold Coast and Big Apple Film Festivals. His first film premiered at the 2005 Sundance Film festival, which Roger Ebert declared “Another Sundance Treasure.” It was successfully distributed through STARZ and Warner Home Video. David has served as a panelist for numerous film festivals in the U.S. and abroad and regularly lectures at colleges, universities and writer symposiums. His films have premiered at Sundance, Tribeca and Palm Springs Film Festivals, and have screened at over a 100 festivals worldwide. He wrote and produced the Disney hit, THE BRIDGE TO TERABITHIA.
