Registration is Now Open!

Western Theological Seminary and Hope College welcome you to the inaugural Writing for Your Life Writer’s Workshop! This workshop is for anyone interested in spiritual writing. It will include popular Christian authors and representatives from the Christian publishing industry. The main workshop will take place on May 16-17, 2017, with a pre-workshop Advanced Writer’s Retreat on May 15.

Headline speakers for the event are Barbara Brown Taylor and Rachel Held Evans. Speakers also include: Isaac Anderson (author), Sarah Arthur (author), Dwight Baker (Baker Publishing Group), Rachelle Gardner (literary agent), Brian Keepers (pastor), Ami McConnell (publishing industry veteran), Elizabeth Palmer (Christian Century), Patricia Raybon (author), Jana Riess (author), Stephanie Smith (Zondervan), and Marijke Strong (pastor).  You can learn more about each speaker through the links below.

Early-bird tuition for the main workshop is $299, through April 15, and includes all General Sessions and Breakout Seminars, lunches, snacks and drinks during the breaks, one-on-one meetings, and an open-mic evening session. After April 15 the tuition will be $325.
