Are you thinking about a “second career” in writing? Many pastors and lay people feel this calling. We would like to help you make the transition!
If you would like to write books that matter – books with substance and soul – then this is the place for you. Writing for Your Life invites you to our Fall 2021 Online Conference “Writing in the second half of life”, featuring authors Diana Butler Bass, Patricia Raybon, Marilyn McEntyre, Wes Granberg-Michaelson, Bruce Reyes-Chow, Erin Healy, Victoria McAfee, and Kaya Oakes, along with publishing industry experts Susan Salley (Abingdon Press), Amy Gingerich (Herald Press), Sharon Elliott (literary agent), and Lyn Cryderman (consultant), with special guests Frank Schaeffer, Parker Palmer, Sophfronia Scott, David Morris, Kate Rademacher, and more!
The conference takes place November 8-12, 2021, all online, but don’t worry – attendees can enjoy recordings of all sessions for the following 3 months.
Tuition for the conference is only $249 and includes all presentations, live Q&A with speakers, worship service, open-mic session, “submit your pitch”, networking lunch breaks, and more.

You do not need to be an experienced writer to attend. Our conferences have a reputation for very high quality speakers, collegiality, and a lack of competitiveness among attendees, so please do not be intimidated if you have not yet published much. Come join us and enjoy the supportive environment!
