Included with the main conference are:

  • 1-on-1 or small group meeting with a speaker – at onsite registration, attendees will have the opportunity, on a first-come, first-served basis, to sign up for a 20-minute, 1-on-1 or small group meeting with one of our selected conference speakers. These meetings are not manuscript feedback sessions, and attendees should not expect the speakers to provide anything after the meeting. However it is a rare chance to speak directly with someone heavily engaged in the publishing world.  Many of these meetings will be offered; however they will only be available while supplies last! So come to onsite registration early!
  • Open mic sessions – On Wednesday at 4:30 PM and Thursday at 4:00 PM, attendees will have the opportunity to present a short excerpt of their writing to other conference attendees.  Each speaker will have 5 minutes, including their introduction and reading.  Each speaker will be limited to 5 minutes.
  • Bookstore – We have partnered with the St. Luke’s bookstore in order to have books available from our conference speakers.
  • Book signings – At 11:00 AM on Wednesday we will have book signings with Barbara Brown Taylor and John Pavlovitz. This will be located at tables in the Gathering Area (map here) near the Bookstore and Registration.
