Announcing the second annual Writing for Your Life Christian Children’s Book Conference! Our theme is “sparking children’s spiritual curiosity”. All online for your convenient enjoyment! The conference is geared toward Christian children’s books readers and writers, including church ministry staff, educators and librarians. The conference takes place live from Monday May 10-14, 2021, but don’t worry – attendees can enjoy recordings of all sessions for the following 3 months!
Author speakers for the conference include Cindy Wang Brandt, Katherine Paterson, Glenys Nellist, Matthew Paul Turner, Tina Cho, Kathleen Long Bostrom, Sharon Elliott, Jennifer Grant, Xochitl Dixon, Caryn Rivadeneira, Traci Smith, and Brittany Sky. Participating Christian children’s book publishing companies include Beaming Books, Flyaway Books, Tyndale House, Penguin Random House, and Our Daily Bread Ministries. Children’s book agents include Karen Neumair (Credo Communications), Keely Boeving (WordServe Literary Agency), and Sharon Elliott. Additional speakers include children’s church ministry staff, and emerging children’s book writers.
Tuition for the conference is only $169 per person and includes all presentations, panels, live Q&R, book discussions, worship service, “submit your pitch”, networking lunch breaks, elevator pitch feedback, open mic, and more.
