More rearranging, more revising, more adding, more subtracting.

We may have collected seventeen points and realize that’s crazy, so we pare it down and work with three or four or five. More rearranging, more revising, more adding, more subtracting. We do this in light of the specific audience we’ve identified, all the while looking for a good opening. At some point an outline may emerge, and then we fill in gaps and round it out.
